Buying advice

• With a listed size of 560(W) x 395(H) x 485(D)mm, check the CB944-A against the bench, shelf or floor space and the access route in.
• It draws 15 A, so it needs a 15 A outlet or hard-wired circuit; an ordinary 10 A power point will not do.
• At 23L, work out cooked yield per batch against covers at peak.
• Clean the inner pot after each batch so starch does not burn onto the base.
• Warranty: Apuro lists 12 months on the CB944-A; file the invoice with the model and serial number so a claim is straightforward.
