Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for choosing Atlantic Equipment. At Atlantic Equipment, we take pride in our meticulous attention to detail and our commitment to providing high-quality products and services to our valued customers.

All purchases from Atlantic Equipment are protected under the Australian Consumer Law. This means you are entitled to certain rights and guarantees, including that the goods you purchase are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.

We are committed to complying fully with these obligations. Please refer to the sections below for information on returns, exchanges, and faulty product handling.

30-Day Return Policy

Returns for Refund (Change of Mind)

We gladly accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date. To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging.
  • The product must include all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
  • A valid proof of purchase (invoice or packing slip) must be included.

Please note: a 30% restocking fee applies to all change-of-mind returns. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and administrative handling.

How to Initiate a Return

Contact Us: Before returning any items, please contact our returns team at info@atlanticequipment.com.au to initiate the return process.

Return Authorization: Once your return request is approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to return the product.

Package the Item: Pack the item securely in its original packaging, including any accessories provided.

Include RA Number: Clearly write the provided RA number on the outside of the package.

Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the costs of return shipping unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days.

Returns for Faulty or Defective Products

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have the right to a remedy if a product is faulty, defective, or not fit for purpose.

If you believe your product is faulty upon arrival:

  • Contact Us: Notify our team within 30 days of receiving the product at info@atlanticequipment.com.au.
  • Required Information: Include your order number, product name, a detailed issue description, and photos/videos if applicable.
  • Assessment & Resolution: Once we receive and inspect the returned item (or confirm the fault with the supplier), we will arrange a repair, replacement, or full refund to your original payment method, based on the nature of the fault and your legal entitlements.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
