The Waldorf Bold CHLB8900ED-CD is a 900mm electric chargrill engineered for high-volume commercial kitchens that require consistent, powerful cooking performance. It delivers 13.4kW of heating power and reaches temperatures up to 400°C, using direct contact cooking elements for fast heat response across a generous 730mm x 590mm cooking surface. These elements produce authentic char marks on meats, seafood and vegetables without any need for traditional cooking grates, while a manual water-filled cooking well with drain captures dripping fat and residue to keep end-of-shift clean-up faster and safer.

Built as part of Waldorf's fully modular Bold range, this unit incorporates a practical cabinet base for under-counter storage. The front panels carry a black vitreous enamel coating and the exterior is finished in stainless steel for long-term durability and straightforward maintenance. The vitreous enamelled control panel adds further resistance to heat and grease. Four 63mm diameter heavy-duty stainless steel legs are fitted with front feet that adjust for levelling, and the rear pair features rollers so the unit can be repositioned or moved aside for deep cleaning without heavy lifting. An optional GN 1/1 four-position racking kit is also available to extend the unit's versatility.
