Overview
Waldorf FF8140E 800 Series Filtamax Fryer Filter
The Waldorf FF8140E is a 40-litre capacity fryer filter unit from the 800 Series, purpose-built to extend oil life and maintain frying quality in busy commercial kitchens. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, this mobile filtration unit connects directly to commercial fryers, drawing used oil through a reusable filter bag and returning clean oil via a rigid delivery tube — keeping fryer tanks productive and reducing oil costs.
Powered by a 1/3 HP reversible heavy-duty pump, the FF8140E offers forward and reverse operation for thorough oil recovery and easy clearing. The unit rolls conveniently on two fixed and two swivel castors for manoeuvring between fryer stations, while practical details such as cord storage, a heavy-duty heat-resistant handle on the delivery tube, and a heavy-duty motor switch make it straightforward to operate and maintain. An upgrade kit for carbon pad filtering is also available for enhanced oil polishing.
Key Benefits
- Extends frying oil life by removing food particles and contaminants, reducing oil replacement costs over time.
- Reversible pump action allows efficient oil recovery and helps clear blockages without tools or disassembly.
- Mobile castor-mounted design lets staff move the filter between multiple fryer stations quickly, improving workflow in busy kitchens.
- Reusable filter bags lower ongoing consumable costs compared to single-use paper filter systems.
- Heavy-duty heat-resistant handle on the delivery tube protects operators when returning hot oil to the fryer tank.
- Rigid return delivery tube ensures safe, controlled transfer of oil back into the fryer, minimising spill risk.
- Cord storage keeps the work area tidy and reduces trip hazards during service.
- Optional upgrade to carbon pad filtering provides a higher level of oil purification when required.
- Full stainless steel construction resists corrosion from hot oils and harsh cleaning agents, supporting long service life.
