The Hoshizaki KMD-270AB is a high-capacity modular ice machine head producing up to 275 kg of premium crescent ice per 24 hours under optimal conditions, making it an ideal choice for hotels, large restaurants, bars, and busy hospitality venues with heavy ice demand. Its patented CycleSaver® design, combined with a double-sided stainless steel evaporator, means the unit completes roughly half as many harvest cycles as comparable machines while delivering the same or greater output, directly reducing energy consumption and wear on components.
Supplied as a modular head only, the KMD-270AB is compatible with a range of Hoshizaki ice bins and requires an appropriate top kit depending on the bin selected. Hoshizaki's signature crescent ice is crystal clear, exceptionally hard, and slow melting, enhancing drink presentation while minimising dilution during service. The unit is built for straightforward daily maintenance, with a slide-in front air filter and a snap-in water tank that can be removed quickly for sanitisation, and it is protected by HoshiGuard antimicrobial agent throughout.
