Overview
A stylish and portable professional ice machine, designed for stress-free ice production in small bars, cafes, and restaurants. As a manual fill machine, there's no need for a permanent water connection - simply lift the lid, fill the water reservoir and fresh ice will fill the internal removable basket, ready for immediate use (holds approximately 120 cubes). This means the machine can be positioned where it-s needed most, whether that's in a meeting room, behind a bar or even in a kitchen as vital extra ice capacity.
And as the Polar can produce around 12 cubes every 10 minutes, there's always fresh ice being made. The front panel ensures simple, user-friendly operation, allowing you to select different sizes of ice as required - perfect if you're using smaller glasses. In addition, you can manually start or stop cycles depending on demand, reducing running costs during quieter hours.

All Ice machines MUST be maintained to ensure high performance.
The cartridge on the water filter system needs to be replaced every 6 months and the unit must be de-scaled to clean the refrigeration evaporator plate.
This maintains the quality of the ice shape and thickness.
This program will extend machine life, improve ice quality, reduce bacterial growth risks, and ensure food safety compliance.
If your ice machine is not maintained, your warranty may be void.
6 Monthly Maintenance Program

Remove scale and mineral deposits from evaporator plate and water distribution system using approved descaler.

Sanitise water reservoir, distribution tubes, and bin interior.

Clean and flush condenser coils (air-cooled units).

Inspect condenser fan motor and blades.

Check inlet water valve, float, and filters for correct operation.

Verify ice thickness probe or sensor calibration.

Inspect refrigerant pressures, superheat, and subcooling – adjust if necessary.

Test compressor amperage and general performance.
