Austheat AHT860 Freestanding Electric Hotplate Grill and Toaster

The Austheat AHT860 is an Australian-made freestanding commercial electric hotplate, grill and toaster combination designed for high-volume foodservice environments including cafés, takeaway shops, fast food outlets and busy commercial kitchens. Built around a 12mm thick heavy-duty machined steel cooking plate measuring 645 x 585mm, it delivers the heat retention and consistency required for continuous grilling of hamburgers, steaks, eggs, bacon, pancakes and sandwiches.

The unit integrates three independently controlled cooking functions: left and right hotplate zones each with their own cook/idle switch and thermostat, plus a dedicated lower toaster and salamander element with its own cook/idle switch. Twin digital temperature displays give operators a clear, accurate read of plate temperature at all times, while rear castors and adjustable front legs make repositioning straightforward. The toasting section offers a 490 x 410mm toasting area with 135mm height clearance for one-sided toasting and salamander-style finishing.
