Roband CHOC2A Chocolate Bain Marie – 2 x 1/2 GN Pans
The Roband CHOC2A is a purpose-built chocolate bain marie designed and manufactured in Australia specifically for tempering and holding melted chocolate at a stable, controlled temperature, making it ideal for food coating, dipping and confectionery applications in commercial kitchens. Unlike a standard bain marie, the CHOC2A operates within a precise 20–50°C thermostatically controlled range, ensuring chocolate remains workable without overheating or seizing.
Constructed from 304 stainless steel with a double-skin tank for even, gentle heat distribution, the unit accommodates various combinations of gastronorm pans and ships complete with 2 x 1/2 GN size 150mm deep pans and lids. Wet-only operation and a self-resetting thermal safety cut-out add reliability and peace of mind during continuous service in busy patisseries, chocolate shops, canteens and catering operations.
