The Roband CHOC2 is an Australian-made chocolate bain marie engineered specifically for holding melted chocolate at precise temperatures for food coating and confectionery applications in commercial kitchens. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with a double skin tank, it delivers gentle, consistent heat through thermostatically controlled operation across a temperature range of 20–50°C, making it ideal for chocolatiers, patisseries, cafes, buffets and catering operations.
Accommodating two 1/2 size gastronorm pans in various combinations, the CHOC2 offers flexibility for different service needs while operating on a standard 240V single-phase power supply at 1000W. Wet-only operation applies, and the unit features a self-resetting thermal safety cut-out for added protection. Pans are not included, allowing operators to select the gastronorm configuration that best suits their workflow.
