The Scotsman ECM 127 AS OX is a self-contained, air-cooled gourmet ice maker with a daily output of 74 kg of crystal-clear ice and a built-in 39 kg storage bin for uninterrupted supply throughout service. Each individual round cube measures 30 mm in diameter by 34 mm high and weighs 20 g, forming a solid, slow-melting cube that preserves drink integrity and elevates presentation in bars, restaurants, hotels and cafés.

Two proprietary systems distinguish this unit: EcoX harnesses the natural hydrocarbon refrigerant R290 for energy-efficient, low-environmental-impact operation, while XSafe is an integrated natural sanitation system that uses high-power ultraviolet light to generate a reactive oxygen mixture, continuously eliminating bacteria, viruses, mould and yeast around the clock. Complementing these technologies are Agion antimicrobial treatment on all ice-contact surfaces, horizontal evaporator spray-system technology, and a progressive water discharge pump capable of evacuating excess water up to 15 metres.
