The Scotsman ECS 87 AS OX is a self-contained, air-cooled gourmet ice maker that delivers up to 39kg of crystal-clear ice cubes every 24 hours, paired with a built-in 19kg storage bin to create a compact, all-in-one unit well suited to cafés, bars, restaurants, boutique hotels, and similar hospitality venues. Each cube measures 21mm in diameter by 25mm high and weighs approximately 8g, forming a solid, slow-melting gourmet cube that is ideal for cocktails, spirits, and premium beverage presentation.

Two of Scotsman's signature technologies distinguish this machine from conventional ice makers. EcoX harnesses the natural hydrocarbon refrigerant R290 for environmentally responsible, energy-efficient operation, while XSafe is an integrated natural sanitation system that uses high-power ultraviolet light to generate a reactive oxygen mixture, continuously eliminating bacteria, viruses, mould, and yeast around the clock so that ice remains odour-free and hygienic without any chemical additives.
