The Polar UA016-A is a professional blast chiller from the flagship U-Series range, purpose-built for high-demand commercial kitchens that require rapid, controlled food temperature reduction. It chills food from 70°C down to 3°C in just 90 minutes and can blast freeze from 70°C to -18°C in 240 minutes, keeping produce well within safe food handling parameters while preserving taste, texture and nutritional value. The unit accommodates 10x GN 1/1 pans and is constructed from stainless steel inside and out for durability and ease of cleaning.
A smartphone-style LCD touchscreen controller makes programming straightforward, allowing operators to store custom chilling routines or select from pre-set cycles at the touch of a button. The built-in food probe monitors core temperatures accurately throughout each cycle to support HACCP compliance and consistent batch cooking workflows.
