Woodson W.CHD1000 Countertop Ductless Exhaust Hood 1000mm

The Woodson W.CHD1000 is a 1000mm wide countertop ductless exhaust hood built for commercial kitchens and foodservice venues where a ducted extraction system is not practical or required under the National Construction Code. Powered via a standard 10 amp plug and lead, it offers a straightforward plug-and-play installation above benchtop electrical cooking appliances such as fryers, grills and conveyor ovens, making it well suited to cafes, bars and compact commercial kitchen environments. From revision E onwards, the unit satisfies NCC-2022 compliance obligations through both deemed-to-satisfy and performance solution pathways, with testing and certification covering both Australia and New Zealand.

Air is drawn upward through a multi-stage filtration system and returned to the workspace via front-facing louvres, removing grease, smoke and cooking emissions to support indoor air quality in accordance with NCC-2022: F6V1, provided the space has sufficient background ventilation. Heat and humidity generated during cooking must be managed through appropriate mechanical or natural ventilation supply in the space, consistent with NCC-2022: F6P4 and F6D6. This unit is approved solely for use with electrically powered cooking equipment; operation alongside gas-fired or solid-fuel appliances is strictly prohibited.
